Cinematic
Sequence

For this assignment, I was asked to create a cinematic sequence of a scene of my choice, demonstrating the various camera effects and rendering features within Unreal Engine 5.​​

For this assignment I was awarded a High First.

Software Used: Unreal Engine, Adobe Illustrator

Planning

After deciding on the map to use for this assignment, I then had to plan out the sequence and camera setup.​This involved observing the maps environment, picking out key elements of the scene to focus on for each camera effect. Creating a basic diagram helped me with this process.

Setup

Using Unreal Engines sequencer, I was then able to setup the scene based on the planning I had prepared initially. With the use of the game engines features such as camera cranes and camera rails.

The Final Outcome

This was the final outcome, along with the video I had to do a presentation explaining what features and effects I used, how I used them and why I thought it would work for that particular area in the scene.
